The Posters session will not be live streamed an available on the ZOOM platform.
Online participants can choose one of two options for a poster presentation.
Firstly - to send the pdf file containing the poster, which will be printed by the organisers and then presented during the conference session;
Secondly - the individual 5-10 minutes online poster presentation during the poster session through the ZOOM platform and the same link as the programme sessions.
In the case of online poster presentation, there is no need to send a pdf file because presentation will be through the ZOOM platform.
Online participants should declare the form of poster presentation no later than the week before conference.

Please fill free to use all (one) page space of the format A4 with 2 cm margins on all sides, except right (1,5 cm). The title must be written in capital letters, bold, centralized, font Times New Roman 12.
Name, surmane, autor’s affiliations and email of the corresponding author must be written as indicated in example (the name of a presenting author must be underlined).
Text should be 1,15 lines spaced with font Times New Roman 12.
Abstract has do not contain figures or tables.
Short acknowledgement and up to 3 references are acceptable.
In case of multiple abstract submission, please provide abstracts on separate pages of the same file.
The abstract as surname (MS Office format) file should be sent to pyc2022@ur.edu.pl
Abstract topic – abstracts must be allocated to a specific topic for the Scientific Programme. Please choose from the list of topics.
Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission of his/her abstract.

The Organizing Committee will be responsible for acceptance as an oral or poster presentation or rejection of the submitted abstracts.
Conference speakers will be invited by the Organizing Committee.
Only abstracts of authors who have paid their registration fees will be scheduled to be included in the Conference materials.
Rules for submission
All abstracts should be submitted and presented in English with accurate grammar and spelling which are suitable for publication.
Only abstracts of authors who have paid their registration fees by May 31, 2022 will be scheduled for presentation.

Special Issue
Participants of the 1st Polish Yeast Conference who presented oral or poster communication could submit an article for publication in the Thematic Issue of the international journal Yeast (IF 3.239).
Tentative title of the issue: "Yeast science in the Central and Eastern Europe".
Guest Editors of the issue: Drs. Therrance Cooper and Andriy Sibirny. Submission to the thematic issue should be completed till October 1st, 2022.
The manuscripts will go for a standard reviewing process with at least two independent specialists
in the field of the manuscript. Publication in the Yeast journal is free of charge.
Participants of the 1st Polish Yeast Conference could publishe materials of their oral or poster presentations as experimental or review articles in the special issue of Acta Biochimica Poolonica (IF 2,149), see: https://ojs.ptbioch.edu.pl/index.php/abp/about/submissions.
The manuscripts will be handled by Guest Editors: Prof. Andriy Sibirny, Prof. Teresa Zoladek, Dr. Maciej Wnuk and Dr. Justyna Ruchala. Deadline for manuscript submissions is September 1st, 2022. Publications will be payable with reduced price of 200 PLN per printed page.
